Days 4-7...Happy Turkey Day!

Post was delayed, out of town and had limited access to a computers. Here's the overview of the past 4 days:

Day 4: rode around my neighborhood on the muni, I was debating putting in some more time to make it easier over the next few days but my legs were so tired I simply couldn't. Ended up with 30 minutes and about 2 and a half miles.

Day 5: went to Fort Worth to visit my grandparents, about an hour after thanksgiving lunch my mom, aunt, and grandmother wanted to go for a walk so I grabbed my muni and rode around them while they were walking. I tried some more off road stuff and did...*fairly* well, but its surprisingly difficult. By *my* watch I rode about 37 minutes, by my moms I hit almost 32. I'm going with my time, it makes me feel better.

Day 6: Spent the day at my brothers in Dallas, in the evening my parents wanted to go for a run/walk around a hike and bike trail kind of thing. They took my dog Maci with us and we went on a roughly 3 mile loop. I spent some time working on riding close to her while on my uni, currently she is a bit afraid of running next to me while I ride. Made some good progress, rode about 43 minutes.

Day 7: I was utterly exhausted today, my legs were sore and I was just physically spent from the last almost week of riding straight. I got home a little after 1 and had a late lunch with my folks, brother and cousin. After thoroughly stuffing myself I spent the afternoon watching TV and playing some video games, trying to get some rest so I would feel up to hitting the pavement. It failed horribly and I ended up taking a nap until about 9 and figured with the time I put in the past 2 days I would ride about 10-15 minutes and make up the difference tomorrow, but to my surprise once I was out there I enjoyed it so much I just kept on going. I would write some carefully planned and witty comment about my first week but honestly I'm now thoroughly and completely spent. This makes a total of about 230 minutes in the first 7 days. Woo for me! I consider it a very successful first week!
