Day 1 and Day 2 - The beginnings

Day 1-

Yesterday November 20th. Rode the Coker (a 36" unicycle wheel) with Darren around town lake, rode pretty consistently for about 30 minutes ending with an approximately 3 mile ride. As previously stated...thoroughly exhausting but not as much for where we were riding as opposed to just how freaking fast Darren likes to ride.

Day 2 -

Today after I got home from work we went out to eat to celebrate me and yet another friend's birthday, after which we grabbed a drink and listened to a local musician at a new little bar I was introduced to. When I finally got home and ready to ride it was already 1030, but I couldn't break the system before even doing a single day! I used a 24" mountain Uni (hereby referred to as a Muni) and tried to ride a considerable portion off road. In the neighborhood nothing is *too* crazy and bouncy, but I didn't really want to risk it in the dark anyways so I stayed on some fairly tame terrain. Still, with the ride yesterday my legs are pretty spent and I can already tell I'm going to have to look into what I can do for increased comfort on these rides!

I realize 2 days isn't too much to brag about quite yet, but I am fairly proud of myself for getting out even after a long day and more to eat than I should have dealt with. The real test is the fact that I'm leaving out of town in the next few days for thanksgiving...Hopefully I can stick through that!
